How to Apply

All who are contemplating admission to the EBTC should apply formally, using the forms supplied by the EBTC, as early as possible, but at least two months prior to the date of intended enrollment.

Student Profile

Enrollment in The EBTC is limited to those who give testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, who demonstrate submission to the will of God and obedience to the Word of God and who are in agreement with the seminary’s statement of faith.

Bible Survey and Biblical Counseling are intended for men and women.

Preachers Institute and Master of Arts is designed for men only because these programs are focused especially on preaching and teaching.

Application Procedures and Prerequisites

As outlined above, it is the conviction of the EBTC faculty that there are personal, spiritual, doctrinal, and professional qualifications which an educational process alone cannot produce, and without which any preparation for an entrance into the ministry of the gospel can result in nothing but personal tragedy.

The EBTC administration and faculty reserve the right to withdraw the privilege of enrollment from any student who, after admission, may prove to be lacking in these essential qualifications. In evaluating all applications, the EBTC Committee will look for evidence of increasing Christian maturity.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition charges paid by students cover slightly less than one-half the cost of the normal operating expenses. The continuing support of individuals and churches is necessary for the ongoing ministry of the EBTC.

Additional Fees

Books

All students are required to buy books required for courses. Estimated cost: € 300

Housing

We want to emphasize that it is not only important for students to be taught by our teachers but also to have fellowship with them or local church members. Thus we can also reduce costs as much as possible.

Berlin: For housing in a host family you should calculate 5 € a night.

In Zurich housing will be in the "Gemeinschaftszentrum" and is included in the program fee.
