
John MacArthur is the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, as well as an author, conference speaker, president of The Master’s College and Seminary, and featured teacher on radio and television with the Grace to You media ministry.
In 1969, after graduating with honors from Talbot Theological Seminary, John came to Grace Community Church. The emphasis on his pulpit ministry is the careful study and verse-by-verse exposition of the bible, with special attention devoted to the historical and grammatical background behind each passage. Under John’s leadership, Grace Community Church’s two morning worship services fill the 3,000-seat auditorium to capacity. Several thousand members also participate each week in dozens of fellowship groups and training programs, most led by lay leaders and each dedicated to equipping members for ministry on local, national, and international levels.
In 1985, John became president of The Master's College (formerly Los Angeles Baptist College), a regionally accredited, four-year liberal arts Christian college in Santa Clarita, California. In 1986, John founded The Master's Seminary, a graduate school dedicated to training men for full-time pastoral roles and missionary work.
John is also president and featured teacher with Grace to You. Founded in 1969 Grace to You is the nonprofit organization responsible for developing, producing, and distributing John’s books, audio messages, and the "Grace to You" radio and television programs. "Grace to You" airs nearly 1,000 times daily throughout the English-speaking world, reaching all major population centers in the United States, as well as Australia, Canada, Europe, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and South Africa. It also airs more than 900 times daily in Spanish, reaching 23 countries, including Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, and Columbia. In its four-decade history, Grace to You has also distributed more than 13 million audiocassette tapes and CDs, and more than one hundred study guide titles. In 2006, “Grace to You” television launched a weekly telecast, which can be seen nationwide on DirecTV and major cable outlets across the US. The program is also broadcast via satellite in the UK and may be viewd worldwide via the Internet at www.gty.org.
Since completing his first best-selling book The Gospel According to Jesus, in 1988, John has written many books such as: The MacArthur Study Bible, Our Sufficiency in Christ, Charismatic Chaos, Twelve Ordinary Men, Saved Without a Doubt, Ashamed of the Gospel, and The MacArthur New Testament Commentary series. His newest releases are, The Truth War, Because the Time is Near and A Tale of Two Sons. Many of John's books are available on CD-ROM and dozens of titles have been translated into several languages, including Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Marathi, Polish, Romanian, Russian, and Spanish.
John and his wife, Patricia, live in Southern California and have four grown children and an increasing number of grandchildren.

John Piper is the Pastor for Preaching at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and studied at Wheaton College, where he first sensed God's call to enter the ministry. He went on to earn degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary (B.D.) and the University of Munich (D.theol.).
For six years he taught Biblical Studies at Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and in 1980 accepted the call to serve as pastor at Bethlehem.
John is the author of more than 30 books and more than 25 years of his preaching and teaching is available free at desiringGod.org.
John and his wife, Noel, have four sons, one daughter, and an increasing number of grandchildren.

Dave Deuel is Academic Director of The Master's Academy International and focuses on training approaches and resources.
Dave has helped design educational and administrative programs for The Master's College, The Master's Seminary, Cornell University, and other schools and local churches. He attended Baptist Bible College (B.S.) and Grace Theological Seminary where he received the Old Testament and leadership awards (M.Div. and Th.M.). Also, as a student, he taught classes in three departments at Cornell University (M.A.) and received the Cornell Sage Chapel Award for Preaching. At The Master’s Seminary, Dave served as Old Testament professor for ten years during which time he also was Doctoral Studies Chairman. He has served as traveling instructor, regional director of the San Fernando Valley, CA and director of international studies for Joni and Friends ministry with people with disabilities.
Dave and his wife Nancy have been married for over thirty years and have four children: Rebekah, Joanna, Michael, and Joshua.

Dr. Roger Liebi studied music, languages of the biblical world (Greek, classical and modern Hebrew, Aramaic, Akkadian), and theology.
He is active as a Bible teacher and speaker in various countries. As a Bible translator, he has been involved in three projects. He also is author of numerous publications.
At Whitefield Theological Seminary in Florida (USA), he holds a Ph.D. with a dissertation on the Second Temple in Jerusalem.
He teaches the seminar "The authenticity of the Bible".

Dr. John D. Street is a Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master’s College and Seminary.
He is the Chairman of the graduate program, the Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling. Prior to coming to this program he taught at Cedarville and Cornerstone Universities. He was also a pastor for 22 years and was a church-planter in Ohio.
He completed seminary at Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary and his doctoral program at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA.
Presently he is an elder and co-pastor of the Joint Heirs fellowship group at Grace Community Church.
He and his wife, Janie, have four children.

Dr. Abendroth is Senior Pastor at Bethlehem Bible Church in West Boylston, Massachusetts.
His passion is preaching the Bible in a verse-by-verse fashion and training other men to do the same. He graduated from The Masters' Seminary in 1996 (M. Div.), received his doctorate in Expository Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2006 (D. Min.), and is adjunct professor of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and teaching at the Institute for Biblical Studies (IBS). Dr. Abendroth is also the author of the book entitled "Jesus Christ: The Prince of Preachers" He is overwhelmed at God's grace in his salvation and in God's choice of his amazing wife Kimberly. Mike has been the Senior Pastor at BBC since April 1997. He hosts the daily radio show, “No Compromise Radio".
Dr. Abendroth is Guest Speaker at our Hirtenkonferenz (Shepherds' Conference) and professor at the Master Program.

While attending the University of Cincinnati on a football scholarship, the Lord revealed the true meaning of Christianity to Carl through the ministry of Athletes in Action. He graduated from U.C. with an Economics degree. He attended The Master’s Seminary (TMS) where he graduated with a M.Div. and Th.M. degree. He is making preparation for his Doctoral studies at The Master’s Seminary and serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Pastoral Ministries Department.
He has a passion for foreign missions: he serves as a board member for T.E.A.R.S. Ministries (Dominican Republic and Haiti). He is the coordinator for the Los Angeles Men’s Bible Conference, which attracts hundreds of men each year and challenges them to grow deeper in their faith and be more effective in ministry. He is the founder of Higher View Ministries, which seeks to bring a higher of God to the urban community through joint efforts in ministry to men, foreign missions, and developing biblical resources.
Pastor Hargrove is a contributing author to Secret Sex Wars: A Battle Cry for Purity. He is a member and certified counselor with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors. After graduating from TMS in 1993, he was ordained and sent out by Grace Community Church of Sun Valley, California to plant a church in the Los Angeles area. From that endeavor, Westside Bible Church was born, where he pastored until 2006. In April of 2007, he assumed the Pastorate of Fairview Heights Baptist Church. His life verse is 1 Chronicles 28:9, 10. He and his wife, Joanna, have five children.

Dr. Christopher Catherwood is a British author, historian, tutor for the Cambridge University and professor at different Universities around the world.
He holds degrees from Cambridge and Oxford in modern history.
Dr. Catherwood has written and edited more than twenty-five books, including Five Evangelical Leaders, Martyn Lloyd-Jones: A Family Portrait, and Christians, Muslims, and Islamic Rage. One of his latest book is titled Church History: A Crash Course for the Curious.
Catherwood is the son of Sir Frederick Catherwood (former Vice-President of the European Parliament), and maternal grandson of the preacher Dr. D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones. He is married to Paulette; a piano teacher.
He and Paulette are members of the evangelical Cambridge city centre church, St Andrew the Great.

While pursuing his graduate and post-graduate education, Dr. Harris was actively involved in pastoring various churches in California and Texas.
In 1989, following the completion of his doctoral studies, he joined the faculty of Washington Bible College, a position he held for seven years. Then for ten years, Dr. Harris taught at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, teaching Bible and Greek. He continues to serve as an international faculty member of the Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary in Amman, and maintains an ongoing conference and pulpit ministry. Dr. Harris has also completed short-term graduate study at the Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem.
He is the author of "The Cup and the Glory" , "The Darkness and the Glory" and numerous journal articles, and is an active participant in scholarly societies.
He joined the TMS family in 2006.
Dr. Harris is teaching pastor at Lake Hills Community Church in Castaic, CA.

Tim Dane is Director of Front Range Bible Institute, Professor of NT languages and Theology. Tim Dane obtained a B.S. in Finance (1984) from UNLV in his hometown of Las Vegas. After completing his studies at The Master’s Seminary (M.Div., Th.M.), Tim served as senior pastor of Anza Avenue Baptist Church (Torrance, CA) from 1995 to 2005. Since 1997, Tim has served as an adjunct professor at Irpin Biblical Seminary (Kiev, Ukraine) and has also taught at the seminary and institute levels in Russia, Mexico, Germany and the U.S.
The desire to pursue doctoral studies and the vision to form Front Range Bible Institute led Tim, his wife Karen (since 1986), and their six children to move to the Colorado Springs area in mid-2006.
Personal interests with his family include soccer, fishing, snow skiing, and antique cars.
At the EBTC Tim teaches several classes in the Master Program.

Mark Dever serves as the senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Since his ordination to the ministry in 1985, Dr. Dever has served on the pastoral staffs of four churches, including a church plant in Massachusetts. Prior to moving to Washington in 1994, Dr. Dever taught for the faculty of Divinity at Cambridge University while serving for two years as an associate pastor of Eden Baptist Church.
Currently, Dr. Dever serves as the president for 9Marks Ministries (formerly The Center for Church Reform, CCR) in Washington, D.C. He also teaches periodically at various conferences, speaking everywhere from South Africa to Brazil to the United Kingdom to Alabama. Feeling a deep burden for student ministry, Dr. Dever often addresses student ministry groups at campuses throughout the country, and has taught at a number of seminaries.
He also serves as a trustee of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is a member of the board of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals. From 1995 until 2001, he served on the steering committee for Founders Ministries, a pastoral movement for biblical teaching and healthy church life within the Southern Baptist Convention. As Guest Senate Chaplain for two weeks in 1995, Dr. Dever opened the daily sessions of the United States Senate in prayer. He is a member of the American Society of Church History and the Tyndale Fellowship, and he held the J.B. Lightfoot Scholarship at Cambridge University from 1989 to 1991.
Dr. Dever received his Doctor of Philosophy in Ecclesiastical History from Cambridge University. He also holds a Master of Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity, summa cum laude, from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Duke University.

Steve Fernandez is the Senior Pastor of Community Bible Church in Vallejo, California, a church which he founded in 1980. With a focus upon expository preaching, discipleship, and missions, the Lord has caused the church to grow to 1,000. Prior to coming to Vallejo, Steve served for four years as an associate pastor at Valley Bible Church in Hercules, California. Steve is the founder and President of The Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo, California, where he teaches Missions, Theology, and Preaching. Steve is co-founder, board member, and instructor at Grace School of Theology and Ministry in Pleasant Hill, California, where he has taught Systematic Theology, Bible Exposition, and Preaching for 25 years.
He has preached and taught pastors’ conferences in India, Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, Central America, and the Philippines. A graduate of California State University at Hayward, and Dallas Theological Seminary, Steve has authored books, booklets, and study materials including; Free Justification: The Glorification of Christ in the Justification of a Sinner; Jesus and the Depressed; etc..
Steve and his wife Karen have three children and four grandchildren.
Steve is Guest speaker at our Hirtenkonferenz (Shepherds' Conference).

After 22 years as missionaries in France, and 12 of those years where John served as pastor in Geneva (his home-town), John and Meg have started a new International French-speaking church in Geneva, Switzerland, the Eglise Evangélique Internationale de Genève
His goal is to start a vibrant, International French-speaking independent Bible Church in Geneva, Switzerland, where Expository Preaching is promoted, and with goals of seeing other reproducing churches spawned off from this church in the years to come.
John serves as a guest speaker at our Hirtenkonferenz.

In addition to his role as Executive Pastor, Rick serves as the college pastor at Grace Church. He is the director of the doctor of ministries program and a faculty associate in homiletics at The Master's Seminary. Rick is also the founder and executive director of the Resolved Conference.
He has served in youth ministry for 25 years and teaches as Adjunct Professor of Youth Ministries at The Master's College.
A native of Tennessee, he has earned degrees from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (B.S.), The Master's Seminary (M.Div.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.).
Rick and his wife, Kim, have three sons.

Dr. Steven J. Lawson is the Senior Pastor of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama, having served as a pastor in Arkansas and Alabama for the past twenty-five years.
He is a graduate of Texas Tech University (B.B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.), and Reformed Theological Seminary (D. Min.)
Dr. Lawson is the author of twelve books, his most recent being Job in the Holman Old Testament Commentary Series. His other books include Famine in the Land: A Passionate Call to Expository Preaching, Psalms, Volume I (Psalms 1-75) in the Holman Old Testament Commentary Series, Made In Our Image, Absolutely Sure, The Legacy, and Faith Under Fire. His books have been translated into various languages around the world, including Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, and the Indonesian language.
Dr. Lawson has contributed several articles to Bibliotheca Sacra, the Southern Baptist Journal of Theology, The Faith and Mission, DecisionMagazine, and DiscipleshipMagazine, among other journals and magazines.
He serves on the Executive Board of The Master's Seminary and College, teaches Expository Preaching at The Master's Seminary in the Doctor of Ministry program, and teaches in The Expositor's Institute at Grace Community Church. Dr. Lawson also has participated in the Distinguished Scholars Lecture Series at the Master's Seminary, lecturing in 2004 on "Expository Preaching of the Psalms." He also serves on the Ministerial Advisory Board for Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida and on the "Advisory Council" for Samara Preachers' Institute & Theological Seminary, Samara, Russia.
Steve and his wife Anne have three sons, Andrew, James, and John, and a daughter, Grace Anne.

Doug was saved when he was 21 while working for the US military to save up to study medicine. Very soon after becoming a Christian, Doug was called to full time Christian ministry.
He currently serves as pastor at the Trinity Road Chapel in London.
Pastor Doug is married to Royale and they have two sons, Matt and Ben.

Jack Hughes wurde was born in Lompoc, California and presently lives in Los Angeles. After graduating from Boise State University with a degree in electronics technology , he studied and completetd his M.Div at the Masters Seminary in Los Angeles.
Later he received his Doctorate of Ministry degree in expository preaching from Westminster Theological Seminary in Escondido, California.
After graduating from The Master's Seminary in 1991 he was called back to Idaho to minister at Grace Bible Church in Boise, where he had the privilegde to be part of 2 church plants in the area. In the year 2000 Jack was called to pastor Calvary Bibel Church in Burbank, where he teaches and preaches as much as he can.
He also teach a class on expository preaching at The Master's Seminary.
Jack is married to Lisa and they have been blessed with 3 children.

Dr. Wolfgang Nestvogel studied Evangelical Theology in Krelingen, Göttingen and Tübingen. After a serving as a pastor to a church in Borstel (Nienburg) and Osnabrück he graduated from the Theological Faculty of the University of Nürnberg/ Erlangen.
He served as lecturer and dean at the Academy for Reformed Theology (ART) in Hannover.
Wolfgang is now pastoring a church in Hannover (Bekennende Evangelische Gemeinde Hannover).
He is married and has 2 children.

Dr. Baker has been in ministry since 1980 with extensive experience in twenty-five years as a pastor and in training and equipping pastors and laymen in the skills of Biblical Counseling. He is also completing training to be a certified conciliator with Peacemaker Ministries and teaches a number of conflict resolution courses.
He has Level II Certification with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors and is currently seeking Fellow status with NANC.
He and his wife Rose Marie have been married since 1981 and are thankful parents of six children, three boys and three girls (three of whom are married). They are grateful to the Lord to be able to serve at TMC and are passionate about teaching students to live as worshipers of what truly lasts.

Dr. Zemek is the Academic Dean of The Expositors Seminary.
B.A. Northern Illinois University and Grace College, M.Div. Grace Theological Seminary, Th.M. Grace Theological Seminary, Th.D. Grace Theological Seminary.
In 1975, he began his teaching career in the Greek department at Grace College. During that period he also served as a part-time instructor in the Homiletics department of the seminary. From 1977 to 1988, Dr. Zemek was a full-time professor of biblical languages, theology, and apologetics, serving also as Grace Seminary's Director of Doctoral Studies from 1985-1988. Beginning in 1988, he taught the biblical languages, apologetic methodology, and theology, for six years at The Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, California. In 1994, Dr. Zemek became the founding Pastor-Teacher and professor, respectively, of Grace Bible Church and The Ministry Training Center in Brandon, Florida. From 2000 - 2009 he served as the Dean of The Ministry Training Center at The Bible Church of Little Rock in Arkansas, where he also served as an elder and Pastor to Seniors and Shut-ins. Beginning in the fall of 2009 he moved to the Jupiter campus of the seminary to serve full-time as Acadmic Dean, Professor, and Scholar-in-Residence of The Expositors Seminary.

Dr. Schreiner joined the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary faculty in 1997 after serving 11 years on the faculty at Bethel Theological Seminary. He also taught New Testament at Azusa Pacific University.
He graduated at Western Oregon University (B.S.), Western Conservative Baptist Seminary (M.Div., Th.M.,) and Fuller Theological Seminary (Ph.D.).
Dr. Schreiner, a Pauline scholar, is the author or editor of several books including, Romans, in the Baker Exegetical Commentary Series on the New Testament; Interpreting the Pauline Epistles; Still Sovereign: Contemporary Perspectives of Election, Foreknowledge, and Grace, and more.
At the EBTC he teaches the Master Program in New Testament Theology.

Greg Stoever has served as Pastor-Teacher of River City Grace since January 2000. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Master’s Seminary in 1989, and has been involved in full-time pastoral ministry since then.
Being convinced that the Gospel is “…the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…” (Rom. 1:16), Greg’s passion is to see Jesus Christ exalted and His grace extended through the verse-by-verse preaching of God’s Word.
Greg has been married to his wife Laurie since 1989 (a special graduation gift!), and they have four children: Lindsay, Zachary, Jordan, and Tyler. In the flow of being a husband, dad, and pastor, Greg’s hobbies include bicycling, various sports, reading, and woodworking.
Greg is teaching in the Master Program.

Bruce is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary and was ordained at Grace Community Church. They were sent out as missionaries to Ukraine in 1992. After a year of full-time Russian language study Bruce has been teaching at one of Ukraine's first and largest seminaries - Irpin Biblical Seminary.
Presently, the school has approximately 275 students and has graduated over 600 men who are ministering in Europe, China, Russia, Ukraine, Moldavia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. This year Bruce is teaching Bible Geography, New Testament Survey, Exposition of Matthew, Homiletics, and The Life of Christ.
Aimee's primary focus is the home, keeping husband and children healthy and happy. She recently finished translating (with help from her tutor) a book for women called "The Excellent Wife."
Bruce and Aimee have three small children.
Bruce is teaching at the EBTC Bible Geography /Archeology.
