Content: A central theme was the little emphasized biblical teaching on our identity as slaves of Christ. John MacArthur exposed this truth in a biblical and impacting manner. He showed us that "we have been bought on the slave market of sin and now become salves to a new Master"; and yet beloved friends. A further focus was the meaning and sufficiency of the Word of God in our lives, expressed in preaching and counseling.
